Cape Neddick Lighthouse is also known as “Nubble Light” because of its location on Nubble Island immediately off the cost of York, Maine. It is one of the most famous lighthouses in the world. It’s such a classic example of a quintessential lighthouse that a photograph of it was included in the collection of earth’s most prominent landmarks on the Voyager spacecraft.
