I grew up in New England and have been painting its historic buildings and coastline for as long as I can remember. In 2001 I settled in Portland, Maine and began a love affair with painting Maine’s lighthouses in their historic, picturesque, and dramatic settings.
I paint other subjects as well, and am a member of two weekly portrait drawing and painting groups and also paint fantasy art. However, I still make time for painting Maine’s Lighthouses, as they have a deep connection with me, having grown up in a small lobstering town in Massachusetts with its own gorgeous and historic lighthouse that serves as a landmark for my childhood.
